The night was still young, lit by the stars
and celestial wonders of the skyline most vast

There was a time when life and death
seemed like the very same thing
I was bound by my duty to fight for my kind
that filled me with purpose to my last breath

The presence that I felt, seemed most divine

the afterlife that our deacons would guarantee

As far as Viking atmosphere goes in metal, I doubt there is a better band than Havamal. Their name suits them. The album keeps boosting the euphoria and ends off with one of the best tracks on it. Never lets go. The only natural thing to do is to set it on LOOP and go through the adventure again. Obligatory gym playlist material. freefrofru
